The purpose of this blog is to let consignors, customers and friends of SmartyPants watch the progress as we set up our new DeMotte, Indiana location.
A little background: For three years, SmartyPants has enjoyed great success at our Roselawn location. There has always been great "buzz" surrounding the shop, last year when we stopped carrying kids clothes and focused on becoming a teen shop, carrying brands like Hollister, Abercrombie, Seven jeans etc. things have gone crazy.
The new DeMotte shop is located on N. Halleck Street, right next to Boundary Waters Restaurant. As a side note, this is one of the nicest restaurants in the area, great food, good service and a nice relaxing rustic environment.

Do you love the paneling? Turns out it's covering up multiple layers of wall paper! My favorite was an avacado green floral velvet flocked...almost worth preserving!
