It's always a blast this time of year when customers flock to the shop to try on dresses in preperation for their Christmas parties. Dresses that hang without so much as a glance for weeks are suddenly a hot commodity this time of year!
As I write this a woman is trying on her 10th dress. Her comment, "there are more dresses for me to try on in here, than there were in the whole mall!" I believe it! I counted them, 46 dresses in size small.
My new friend in the dressing room is heading to her work Christmas party. She shared with me that she is sick and has been taking chemotherapy which makes her feel like a bus hit her. I am so amazed that she is still working through it all.
Her favorite dress is a big poofy light pink cinderella dress. Her mom is trying to talk her out of it because it's pink and not a winter color, but I'm thinking....wear what you want sister!!
Time for me to go find the perfect crystal necklace set to tuck into her bag as a surprise! I love my job!
